Reeves' Inspection Report
This whole-leaf, single estate Oolong tea is one of my favourites. This beautiful honey oolong tea that is made and processed in a region known for Four Seasons Oolong.
Reeves' Tasting Notes
With highly-oxidised leaves and a rich body, this tea has a honey and floral flavor. There is richness due to its growing condition and iron-rich terroir. We like this to pair this tea with hot cross buns.
Reeves and the rest of the Marulin team hopes you enjoy this tea as much as we do.
Reeves' Tea Making Guide
Directions on use: For a teapot, place about 2-3g of tea into your favourite infuser and brew with hot water. For a mug, use about 1g of tea for each serving. Each serving of tea can be brewed up to 4 times in a small teapot or mug. Temperature of brewing: 195-200°F (90-95°C). Time of brewing: 2-4 minutes depending on strength.
Reeves recommends this tea without milk or sugar. We have seen tea shops serve Oolong Milk Tea Lattes, but we suggest using other more economical teas for your milk and sugar endeavors.
